The Music Cities Awards celebrate innovative projects from around the globe using the transformational power of music to improve their communities.
The contest includes 11 categories related to the latest trends in music cities topics.
Best Global Music City
Best Initiative to Support Diversity & Inclusion in Music
Best Initiative to Support Music Education & Career Development
Best Music Tourism Initiative
Best Initiative Using Music to Improve Health & Wellbeing
Best Initiative Using Music to Support Environmental Sustainability
Best Initiative Using Music for Economic, Social or Community Development - Presented by North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (Come Hear NC)
Best Night-Time Economy Initiative
Best Use of Music in Real Estate or City Planning
Best Organisation or Individual Supporting Music in their City - Presented by Levitt Foundation
Best Digital Innovation to Support Musicians or Music in Cities
Eligible projects must have been active in 2024 and/or 2025.
You can nominate yourself, your organisation, or nominate someone else or another organisation.
You may apply with multiple projects, but each project application must be submitted individually.

The Jury will be composed by a global mix of 10 high level music advocates. Official Jury Announcement will be taking place on March 27th, 2025.
The Awards Ceremony will be taking place at the 2025 Music Cities Convention, on September 16th in Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA.
